Hey Buttie!
The cigar lounge.
Buttie was made for premium cigar lounges, at Aficionados Premium Cigars, and has run there every night since. Two short films from the floor, and the screens its guests use: the whole bar, the humidor, a cigar cut their way, one running tab.
Because a lounge sells cigars, its Buttie lives on the web, not in the app stores. Guests scan the hanger and it opens. Nothing to download.

The venues.
Now the same butler works a stadium seat, a pool chair, a hotel room, a casino table. Eight sample venues, each on its own home page in its own colors, with its own door hanger. Open one and order the way a guest would. Nothing is sent.
For every other venue, Buttie is also an app for iPhone and Android, coming to the App Store and Google Play. Guests who would rather not download anything scan and use it on the web.

It feels like asking a person. Three steps from the chair, the same in a lounge or a stadium. No app to download and no menu to hunt through.
Tell it where you are
The guest scans the code at their seat, or answers your venue's own question: table, section and row, hole and cart, room or lounger.

Say it, or tap it
"Two draft beers and a hot dog with onions." Buttie shows what it heard, with the price, and nothing is sent until the guest says so.

It arrives
The order reaches your bar or service station with the guest's name and seat. The guest watches it go from received to being made to on its way.

The staff.
Orders reach the right station already written up, so nobody walks a floor to take an order or runs back to ask how it should be made. Your staff serves more and walks less.

- A bartender screen. Orders chime in with the guest's name, seat and every detail. Tapping MARK PICKED UP tells the guest their order is on the way.
- A second station. Orders for a second counter, like a cigar lounge's humidor, go to their own screen with only that station's orders.
- Alerts on iPhone and Apple Watch. Managers feel every new order, request and check-please on their wrist, even away from the bar.
- Ready-to-pay cards. When a guest asks for the bill, the bar sees it, and the reminder comes back if nobody answers.
- Open tabs at a glance. Bartenders see every open tab and who owes what.
- Time clock. Staff clock in and out on the bar screen, and managers fix missed punches and see the week's hours.

The register.
It runs on the register you already have. Buttie works with Lightspeed today. Every order becomes a real sale, so there is nothing to re-key and your reports stay right.
Each order lands as a sale on the right register, with the guest's name, seat and every preparation note.
Built from the menu and stock already in your register. Sold-out items hide themselves.
Specials for guests who order through Buttie, and member discounts, posted as real discounts in your reports.
Merge tabs, or void a tab with a reason, and the guest sees why. Paid tabs close themselves.
If a line drops off a tab at the register, the manager hears about it right away.
Manager PINs, short-lived codes for shift leads, and every merge and void stamped with who did it.
Star ratings, private notes and a suggestion box, plus a short path to a Google review.
Guests confirm they are 21 or older on the first screen, and can turn on Face ID so only they can order on their own tab.
Your colors and your photo, so Buttie looks like it belongs in your venue, on your guests' phones and on your hangers.
Your room.
Tell us about your venue and we will set up a walk-through with your own menu. It takes about twenty minutes.
